KITT is for real

We have seen a car that parks itself, and there are some other features that assist drivers, but a car that can totally drive itself may be on its way. This car that many of us can only think of as being a relation to the famous Knightrider car KITT, which just happens to be making a return to our screens.

General Motors have been working with some serious people within the parts, engineering and even university sector. The plan is to develop a serious vehicle that will revolutionize the whole principle of driving around.

The company is expecting to have the basic technology in one package by 2015 and to actually have a working road car for sale by the year 2018! So it would seem that driving in the future may be taking on a completely different angle, so who would be to blame in an accident?
