Dish TV on your computer

Dish TV have announced that they will be releasing a set top box for computers. Once connected the user will be able to switch between using the computer and watching live TV. The service will offer consumers a choice of watching up to 171 channels, plus there are other services too, like interactive TV and gaming etc.

This service is only available in India at the moment; it will be quickly phased in over a period of time to take in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Pune, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad.

The Dish TV system will be very similar in looks to a satellite system, with a dish; set top box, and a VGA box that connects to the computer.
