The pentagon is hacked by the Chinese military

But this is not new news, this happened back in June its just that the story has come out as the Chinese military are accused of using hacking techniques as a first strike tool in their build up to their end game, whatever that maybe.

The Pentagons response was to shut down part of the system for over a week, while they tried to find out what sort of damage had been done. Although there is not direct proof of who was responsible the peoples liberation army have been blamed, but as is always the same in cases like this, the US accuses and nobody responds back to confirm their guilt.

The only thing pointing towards china is the fact that the system has been probed from China for several months, eventually if the hackers keep trying, they are going to get in, as is the case with this attack.

With any computer network there is always going to be a weak spot, someone may become careless or there may be some other way in, but one thing is for sure no network can be 100% secure all of the time.
