Largest botnet created

Malware is such a terrible thing that it is surprising nothing serious has been done it. One gang has developed a network of infected computers that is reportedly the largest ever created.

The creatiors of this malware use every single trick that there is in order to assimilate more victims into their collective. These can be anything from breaking news stories, headlines, sex, you tube and blogs. The idea is to send out emails which have these fancy headings or subjects, but as soon as the person clicks on it, they are taken to a website which contains the malicious code.

In a change of direction the links are now appearing in blogs, not just in the comments section, but occasionally as a posting with a link to the infected site.

It is estimated that the network of infected computers could be as high as ten million computers.
