Mozilla makes an update

The Mozilla Corporation released a second update for their new browser Firefox 3, they have creatively named this update, Firefox 3.1 Alpha 2, code-named “Shiretoko,” which has added support for video and hopefully increased for some JavaScript applications.

It is said to be the last update for the Firefox 3 browser for some time, that is of course unless there are some issues that occur, although during September there is going to be a code freeze for the Beta 1, which should mean that there will be some sort of preview out during the month too.

It is not clear as to when the deadline is going to be for browser, as the date has been bouncing around from late 2008 to early 2009, this has not been helped by the announcement that it will be delayed a further three weeks, meaning that early 2009 is going to look favourite.
