Security flaws hit Firefox 3

At the time of writing there have been over fourteen million downloads of the new Firefox 3 which it has to be assumed most users have been happy with, but within hours of the now famous world record being achieved by Mozilla there are already some security issues.

But as this issue has not been resolved yet, the exact problem is not being publicised. However needless to say that the problem lies with malware, this is normally affected when a user clicks on a link and is taken to an affected website where the damage is done.

The details of the threat have been passed over to Mozilla who will be working of finding out the true extent of the threat if any. In the event that there is problem, then the next thing that we know about it will be when they issue a security patch!
