Those IT skills that make no difference

There was a time when any IT skill was wanted by employers, no matter how extreme or even obscure. But as with any technology based business, time change and so do the desired skills. Some people could get away with having an outdated IT skill, but in the main there are some skills that are probably better left off your CV.

These skills are:

Plain old HTML
Legacy programming languages
NetWare
Non-IP network
PC tech support

Some of the skills above could be considered as dead skills, which does not necessarily mean that any of these skills are not useful at all, they are just not needed in a business environment, and they pay the wages it is better not to argue!
