Petition to save XP

There has been a backlash to the recent news that Microsoft will be phasing out the Windows XP operating system, that there has been a “Save Windows XP” petition started and so far over 111,000 people have signed up.

However the alternative Vista has not been fairing well with the people who have used the system either through an up grade or from buying a new computer. But there is always so sort of problem with an OS, as there is at first the euphoria of a new OS is then lost when the problems begin to arise.

But what is Microsoft going to do, that will not keep XP going forever, after all they are in the business of making software products in order to make money. The only way that they can do this is by bringing out new an OS every now and then.
