HD DVD to be renamed

With the war that never happened over, Blu-Ray has been declared the victor in the DVD war, which to most people was not much of a surprise considering that many large corporations had already begun to back the new format; it was like the video wars all over again!

But where does this leave the poor retailers who have shelves full of HD DVD players? Well clearly they have to clear the stock even if they sell at cost; they will get some capital back. But maybe they don’t have to give these machines away, could there be another way?

Naturally to survive in business today it takes a lot of skill and planning, which is probably why there are a few retailers out there who are not going sell their stock short, they will just remain it. This simple but clever trick could mean that they will be able to clear the stock and get a healthy profit in with the bargain.
